Legally carry a concealed firearm in up to 33 States!

Non-residents of Utah, 21 years of age and older, who complete this 4 hour course are eligible to apply for a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit.

The course will be taught by Bruce Campbell, CPSS of Campbell Personal Defense in Richmond, Indiana. Bruce is an NRA Certified Instructor and is licensed by the State of Utah as a Concealed Firearms Permit (CCW) Instructor.

Course curriculum includes:

  • Handgun safety rules
  • Areas where Utah permit holders cannot carry a firearm
  • How to handle encounters with the police
  • Civil liability
  • Escalation of force
  • Handgun nomenclature
  • Ammunition
  • Fundamentals of shooting
  • Holsters
  • Federal, State (Utah), and Local (Utah) laws, codes, rules and regulations

Cost of the Utah non-resident Concealed Firearm Permit course is $125.00 which includes:

  • Instruction
  • Student manual/CD-ROM
  • Completed permit application
  • A certificate of course completion will be provided signed by Utah Licensed and NRA Instructor, which may be used as proof of training for several other state CCW applications.

Course Cost is only $125.00 per person!

(Early registration discount available through 11/19/2011)

Current cost of the permit (paid directly to Utah after succesful completion of this course) is $65.00 and is valid for 5 years. Renewal is $15.00 every 5 years thereafter.  It is not necessary to re-take the course for permit renewal.

This is great for Indiana residents so you can legally carry in Ohio plus additional states that do not accept Indiana LTCH alone.  Illinois residents can also benefit from the Utah permit when traveling outside of their home state.

NOTICE:
Beginning May 10, 2011 it is mandatory that an applicant must possess a CCW from their home state (if your home state offers such a permit) prior to applying for a Utah CFP. You can still take the class if you don't have your home state CCW yet and it is good for 1 year, but you will need your home state CCW prior to actually applying to Utah and a copy of same must be submitted.

Issuance of the Utah non-resident Concealed Firearm Permit is contingent upon successful completion of the 4 hour firearms familiarization course and a criminal history check by the Utah Department of Public Safety.

The instructor, DPG, and/or Campbell Personal Defense cannot and does not guarantee you will be issued a permit.  Please ensure you are eligible for a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit BEFORE enrolling in the course.  The instructors and promoters of this course are not attorney's and do not offer legal advice. Although discussion of various laws and regulations are part of the course, it is strongly recommended that all students seek advice from a competent attorney for clarification of any course materials and information provided.

Seating is limited and pre-registration is required, so register now!
